Version Checking on vbulletin.org

vbulletin 3.7 onwards has the facility to specify a version checking url in a product - which then allows sites to compare the version number they have installed with the latest version number released by the product author. You can use vbulletin's version checking system to check the version number of any modification released at vbulletin.org. To enable version checking for your modifications 1. Edit the modification settings to add the product id (must be unique). 2. Make sure your version number is correct (same edit screen as above). 3. Add the version checking url to your product. The version check url you specify is ; http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/misc.php?do=productcheck&pid=xxxxxx Where xxxxxx is your product id. You can also specify a Product URL that will re-direct to the correct thread on vbulletin.org, the format is ; http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/misc.php?do=producthelp&pid=xxxxxx Again, xxxxxx is your product id No members have liked this post.
