Hi guys,

I am thinking of making a new page on my site, whereby users will see a world/globe. Does anyone know of some sort of interactive globe whereby, if you click England a new page will open to information about stuff within england. If China is hit then all the information about China will appear.

Anyone have anything like this.. mods? Any ideas how this could be done?
Regards,
Dan

I don't recall seeing anything like that.

I Agree with @Ozzy47.

There are many examples on the web, that explain how to make a click-able regions on an image or underneath a canvas. If you can't find an example, indicate that in a post and I will try to find you a reference.

I would be a little concerned about your initial page size. 1.7mb is fairly large for an initial page load and will be slow on some devices/connections.

This is a common mistake so don't worry about it. You would have learned this yourself over time.

Keep at it.. you have a good start. :)

Thanks very much :) Any ideas how I can decrease this initial page load from 1.7mb buddy?

Thanks for the help again,
Dan

When I get home from work later this evening I will take another look and give you a few suggestions. I try to answer my email and forums during lunch. :)
