Usergroup Color Bar Legend

This hack shows the user group tags under the name of the active users.
This is an easy but usefull for you to determine the order of the groups.

install
=======
Go to your admin cp, then:
* Products & Hooks -> Manage Products -> [Add/Import Product] -> Select 'product-colorbar.xml' from your computer then press 'Import'

* Upload files forum root directory

i know that you ported it its obvious, but as there is already one created for VB5 by another coder, i'd like to know what is different

Difference is, I've transitioned This addition to the new version. I do not care what anyone else does.

Didn't work for me on beta 14, got 500 error.

I've tried the beta 15. no problem. beta 14 had a lot of problems. Try the beta 15.

Running 5.1.0 and just installed.

Doesn't appear to work. Seems to have installed fine and I can change the options. Changed the user groups to the correct numbers, and saved. However users are the same colour, doesnt appear to have had any affect.

Suggestions?

I'm using v. 5.1.1 , I dont see where you can edit the colors, and it seems to not be working as no colors are changed. Is it not compatible with this version?

Looking at the source, it looks like this version is a copy of the other one referenced with a few additional settings.

At any rate, for those looking to make this work in vBulletin 5.1.0 and later, just modify
core/packages/colorbar/api/template.php with the following change:

• Change the function name bulk_fetch to fetchBulk

That should do it for you. Hope that helps! :)

Does not work with VB 5.6.4.

Including the fix....

With fix the site will not work at all, when i change it back to bulk_fetch the site works, but the color bar not. The does not come a module to set on his place!

I agree with this comment it would be nice if there is an update or a patch of the mod so that we can use it correctly.

I stay on what I say for me with the version I have I can't make the mods work I've done exactly the tutorials and the pakage give but nothing to do it doesn't want to work on Vbulletin 5.6.4 :eek:
