Can we get a list of the reserves in tournaments? Maybe in a different tab at the bottom. The tournament hasn't started and it's accepting reserves but I can't see who is signed up beyond the 8 teams.

Request:

If 2 teams are set for a match and neither participate when admin enters score of 0 vs. 0 it should not count as a draw but rather a double loss. Can you have where only draws count if scores are greater then 0 vs. 0 example 1 vs. 1, 2 vs. 2 etc.. Scores of 0 should be double loss, and recorded as such.

Also I would like to know where in database I can change D for draws to L for losses because as of now there is no option for double losses, and the player has to be edited and remove the draw and give a loss. The D however stays in last match results column.

This. Also i don't want tournament to start automaticly installed. If i tick "hide bracktets..." it doesn't work. Brackets are still created.

Reserves: How do I know which teams are joined under reserves? Again if they join they are automaticly added to bracket,make no sense at all. If they are resrves they should be out of brackets i guess. In case somone drops out of a tournament then they should join tournament bracket.

How does checkin in works? Because i'm unable to check in my test tournament. If i set check in, why i don't have these information posted somewhere under tournament information. Also how des check in work? I don't see any button for checking in.

This mod has a lot of fetures and a lot of potentional but also it has many bugs or lack of common features. Don't get me wrong. I'm not bashing your work, just want to give solid feedback.

Is it possible to make a group play seperate without the league.

It confuses the users they have to insert matchtimes and so on. I want a seperate group play type with final knockout tourney. Its the same system but just need to different names/categories as group play is not the same as leagues a people gets confused when we use leagues for groupplay :-)

Alright, couple of issues I've noticed since our first big tournament.

It doesn't allow the reserves to check in, then once the tournament starts, it does not allow me to swap them in with those that didn't show up. So currently the reserve system is broken and not working. It should allow them to check in like everyone else, then at the start of the tournament, if someone doesn't show within the core sign in, they get slotted into the bracket when it is generated. I had many upset people that I couldn't slot them in manually.

Also the reporting of who won needs to be more clear on what they need to enter in. They didn't know if they needed to do W/L or 1-0 or what. We also had people submit their results that they won and their opponent didn't submit anything so they wouldn't advance on. So I had to manually advance them. Maybe do a simple radio button on who won and advance the person but then push them back if the other person contests it by saying they won instead. Or even just do a check box on who won, not a text field.

Also, when people comment on the tournament page itself within the comment section. It says there is 2 pages of comments, but then I click on the next page number from the first one, it just refreshes the page and does not take me to the second page of comments.

There is also the issue of names. A persons username on the website is different than in the game. So people don't know who to find when it comes time to compete. So it would be nice to not use their website name and make them enter in a different name, their in game name.

My biggest issue though is the reserves not being allowed in. Would be nice to also have a chat room on the tournament page itself as well, so that way the players can talk to organize the games.

Additional fields allow you to specific more options when creating/editing tournaments/ladders, which are specific to your forum needs.

dont know if you read it, but would you look into making a separate category for group play based on same system as leagues, maybe without dates as we use groupplay for one day events.. or just an option to leave out(might be better)

Is it possible that in knockout stages or leagues etc that they enter there own scores, both parties have to enter the score, either the manager from the team or individual in head to head etc, currently as stated above its just advance someone to the next stage.

Yes, tournament reserves are automatically slotted in.

Last page is shown for tournament comments as default.

Do they get to check in?

I haven't looked at vbulletin v5.x.x to see how much has changed yet. Hopefully it will be easy to support simultaneously with vbulletin v4.x.x

Added 'No Show' button to match reporting.

For group names in tournaments:

Admincp -> Tournament Settings -> Tournaments User HTML (including username)

For group names into ladder:

Admincp -> Ladder Settings -> Ladders/Leagues User HTML (excluding username)

The last things I believe then was adding an option on the reporting to upload an attachment. This could be either a replay file or screenshot.

Then also the page issue on tournament comments not allowing me to switch pages. It's stuck on page 1 and not letting me see page 2.

Where abouts do you wish the upload option. It is already available for players submitting ladder/league match results.

I think the new version broke the time zones.

I had it set to 4pm Central, I just double checked and it is set to 4pm and my account is set to central time zone but the tournament says it starts at 11am.

Is it possible to remove the timezone chooser and have the mod depend ón the VB time setup ?

Just purchased the Pro version but wanted to know when you update your mod here do you do it on your site also ?

Can the Race feature in tournaments please be explained?

I know it was a request to be able to state what place they finished in. I know tournaments a winner moves to next round based on a win. In race what would be the need for someone to state 4th place when then they would not move forward unless 1st place. I can see losers stating there place which I would think would be 2nd place for races.

Also I want to ask which was already asked I think I page 115 about increasing the amount from 8 to maybe 16 for double elimination tournaments. Why limit to 8? Is this to prevent blowing out the brackets?

Its a league request really, But it can be used as a tournament also i dare say

So basically say 5 people race over 5 circuits

First = 10 points
2nd = 8 points
3rd = 6 points
4th = 4 points
5th = 2 points

Player A finishes say 1st, 2nd, 1st, 3rd and 4th for last map
He would end up with a total of 38 points

Player B finishes say 3rd, 4th, 4th, 5th and 3rd for last map
He would end up with a total of 22 points

And so on so we would end up with all 5 players with the table placing the highest in first,etc,etcJust like formula 1 racing
This could be used the exact same for Free For All in say 5 week leagues on games

U have created the way to set it up for the league type, i only asked for that setup in a seperate type.

U can see on this picture how a group play looks like.

I'm adding an experimental version of 16 players double elimination. It will display differently to 4/8players double elimination tournaments.

It follows vb as long as the timezone are correct.

Stats in profile doesn't seem to be updating. Team stats are true (1 entered, 1 won) however the in the players profiles, it has 0 entered, 0 won.

Team joins/entered stats are not added to player stats too.

I was running a 16 player dB elim yesterday and ran into some issues ...

There was no submit scores for the players, no regress player botton, and it wasnt possible to swap players at the beginning. Dont know if its supposed to be like this ?

Am I completely missing something? I've created a tournament but for some reason whenever I click to create a new team I'm sent to the categories listing. Not sure exactly how I'm supposed to create a team, I've tried everything.

Possible to add a player history to team profiles?

Player joined, player left, player replaced etc.

Player replaced would probably require additional modifications etc... but certainly a great feature!

Good job with the league software, I think you guys could corner the market if you were to produce a Baseball, Softball, Football stat tracking software for Highschool, Rec leagues ect.

When into knockout stages after using groups, we still have the problem that its random, instead of winner of group 1 versus runner up of group 4 for example, the draw needs to be split and winner v runner up, or we need to be able to manually add who plays who when it goes from groups to knockouts.

Also for teams entering tournaments they cannot enter a result, when we have so many teams or players it is much easier if teams and players could enter the results then have it approved by a member of staff to make things function much faster.

On your site how do i get the latest version as in the download section it shows as version 5.x.x but the latest version is 6.0.4 ?

when we run a league into knockout there is no swap players function in the knockout( in case of an error) and players cant submit scores.

When you change the group names in the settings it dosnt reflect through the system. So when i look at my matches it shows group no 1, 2 and 3 instead of the new names i have chosen. And the first match it shows is round 3 and the second is round 2, wouldn't it be better to show the matches in order? or am i missing the logic?

How do we use this Race Format you have set up ?

I have started a test event with 4 players but what now ?

With this being set to 4 players it should be set to 4 races and each race each player should be able to submit where they finished

There should also be an option to set specific days for each race to be played

If possible it should allow the standings to show how many kills, deaths and difference for say games like COD,etc

Any info of the above or how to use this feature ?

The first part of this is pretty important, when running a group into knockout stages it does not reward the winner of a group just randomly throws two group winners together, is there any chance this could be fixed somehow to allow it to be manually kinda like we can move folk around groups before it starts, we can move the teams around in the knockout stage before it starts.

After installing the premium version of the ladder plugin, I can't edit a ladder and save it without a DB error.

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

Create an 8 player tournament. Once 5 players have joined you can click Start Tournment.

Also once you create a tournament there are buttons to adjust tournament size.
