Include recent blogs in "What's New" type searches?

Is there an easy way to include blogs and maybe CMS articles in a "recent posts" search?

I have a custom navbar item using this:

Block Disabled: (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

but it only shows forum posts. How do I get it to expand to ALL posts in the suite?

Wait a few more weeks for vB 4.2. One of the new features will be an activity stream. Atm, you can't include all content types. (There's an addon though, by Andreas IIRC).
