I also got rid of the Birthdate information from the registration page.

I'm sorry but can someone fill us in as to whether this works on 4.2.5?

Everyone was saying it was working, until the very last post there - I am looking to add it to my board, turn the DOB requirements off as explained in this thread.

Will it work?

I have added one thing to this code: A link to the forum rules.

Go to Admincp>FAQ>Add new FAQ Item
Varname: forum_rules
Parent FAQ Item: No Parent FAQ Item

The Forum Rules now appear at the top of the Help page yourwebsite/faq.php

Now go to Admincp>Languages & Phrases>Search in Phrases

Search for Text: I have read

Click Find.

Click the Edit button for read_agree_abide_by_rules

Translation:

I have read, and agree to abide by the {1}
<a href="https://publicopinion.online/faq.php/">rules</a>.

(My website is publicopinion.online - use your own website instead.)

Click Save.

Now you have provided new users with the forum rules. :)
