Thank you for the hack! :)

Benj 10 Jul 2006 23:19

nice one will use this

Barakat 11 Jul 2006 02:56

it works good on 3.6.0 Release Candidate 1

criscokid 14 Jul 2006 15:22

A really good idea! My 'interests field' is a tick box selection so the data in the fields are standard.

Benj 21 Jul 2006 16:03

works great work !

The Free Bird 21 Jul 2006 16:55

GrendelKhan{TSU 28 Aug 2006 10:41

Exitilus 29 Aug 2006 00:50

Works great on 3.6 Gold for me :) Thanks!

-=Sniper=- 21 Sep 2006 13:17

hack has been renamed so it makes more sense. Plus I tested it more, so no longer a beta. People can test it on older vbulletin versions and let me know if it works.

Hornstar 27 Sep 2006 07:44

Nice work, This will come in handy for this other hack. thanks.

lexx27 29 Sep 2006 04:48

works great but it has a problem with mulptiple choice field. It shows all users even if the had not select anything...

Neutral Singh 02 Nov 2006 08:40

after installed the hack i added some more profile fields but its not picking up those new fields. i have reinstalled the software but still its not working. What should i do? -- http://www.sikhbusiness.net

noonespecial 29 Nov 2006 09:55

I don't like that it removes the comma.

noonespecial 04 Dec 2006 03:51

ANyway to keep the comma?

FleaBag 11 Dec 2006 00:34

Finally got around to installing this. What a beauty! Makes a real difference. I was using one that required file edits before, glad to be rid of it... This one is much more flexible too. Thanks. :)

MaestroX 11 Dec 2006 19:55

Thanks, installed

witolds 16 Dec 2006 20:24

Hey Sniper,

I would like to use this hack not only on the member's page, but also on the memberslist.php.

How can I do this? Especially the select fields - the other's can be linked manually in the template, but for the select fields I can't get the key-number of the field...

any ideas?

Thanks, Witold

Can this be customized so that it shows a number of profile fields from the user, plus give him the possibility of write something of his own to make it his "forum webpage"?

You need to go to the vbulletin options and select the new entry for this hack. Each new profile field needs to be entered in the list there of those to pick up.

Hard*Drive 08 Jan 2007 16:44

Hi, great mod, I love it.

Thanks for sharing.

BudLeiser 14 Jan 2007 15:40

Can this mod be hacked to work in conjunction with
http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?p=1158852

So the user fields are clickable wherever they appear not just in User Profile.

adwade 23 Feb 2007 04:00

-=Sniper=-, I just wanted to say THANXX for a Great MOD! I've been wanting to sort my Member List by an additional Profile Field (i.e. State/Country), but this MOD does it one better by only showing the results that match.(so you don't have to page thru unwanted results) S-w-e-e-t! :D

adwade 23 Feb 2007 15:02

One question, I'm using this MOD with additional user profile fields I've added. Each of those fields have fixed choices a user can make, and are mandatory. This MOD works just fine with my Gender (Male, Female) and State/Country (TN,TX, etc), but it doesn't seem to work with my Age Group field. It's choices are like 30's-40's, 40's-50's, etc. Any reason it shouldn't work with a text/numeric field?

Hi there,

this one doesn´t work for me in 3.6.6 - can anybody confirm this?

Exitilus 14 May 2007 23:16

There were changes to the member.php which is most likely causing the problem. And according to the title of the hack it's not compatible with 3.6.6

-=Sniper=- 28 May 2007 21:24

I will release a updated version very soon, perhaps even today.

-=Sniper=- 02 Jun 2007 00:30

Clickable User Fields for vBulletin 3.6.7 released here http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=148705

kube 13 Jun 2007 22:29

Is it right, that it do not work with multiple choice fields ???
Or do I made a mistake ?

3.6.5er version !

kube 13 Jun 2007 22:40

Sorry, working fine with

field18[]=1

when multiple choice!

tamborinegal 21 Jun 2007 03:34

Thanks Sniper! This is perfect.

Clancy

noonespecial 31 Jul 2007 08:44

It's still removing the comma between each item ... any reason why?

noonespecial 31 Jul 2007 08:49

Nevermind:

$userinfo["$profilefieldname"]= substr_replace($userinfo["$profilefieldname"],'',-2);

Works.

Konstantinos 16 Aug 2007 15:39

doesnt work in 3.6.8

AngelBlue 17 Aug 2007 04:48

Doesn't work. All profile fields display the same value.

Hornstar 07 Nov 2008 22:35

this should be standard in 3.7 and 3.8 now as this is quite a good idea.
