Memberlist

A Better Memberlist for your Forum

Quote:

I'm offering my hard work for free, without even a single copyright line in footer, expecting that some of you will appreciate the time that I spent for coding it and they will donate something.
Demo: http://www.teriakis.com/vb423/memberlist.php

1.- What's this?

Memberlist is a vBulletin 4x AddOns which replaces the standard Memberlist with a new one, more beatiful and with many more features.

2.- Features
  • You can set which Usergroups to show in Memberlist
  • Homepage with 3 sections where you can promote some Members of your site (eg The Support Team, The Site's Founder etc). You can assign userid(s) per section and also give a custom title for it.
  • Adds a new Menu in Usercp in Networking section where the user can set their ids in some popular social networks like:
    • Facebook
    • Twitter
    • Google Plus
    • Linkedin
  • In Frontend each Member Profile shows:
    • Avatar
    • Username
    • Online/Offline status
    • Usertitle
    • Location
    • Age
    • vB build-in messenger links: Icq, Aim, Msn, Skype, Yahoo
    • Social Links: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Linkedin
    • Homepage link
    • Button-Link to add that member in your buddy list
  • Powerful Search by:
    • Username starting Letter
    • Partial Username
    • Usergroup
    • Location
    • Age range
    • Join in last xx days
    • Posts more than xx
    • All 10 messenger and social options
  • Other Information in Sidebar:
    • Ajax Tab for Member Statistics with 3 tabs:
      • Online Now
      • Just Join Us
      • Usergroups with totals
    • Ajax Tab for Top Posters with 3 tabs:
      • Top Posters this Week

There are 2 css files to change anything you want:
  1. Just for the Tabs you need to edit: memberindex/tabs/top.css
  2. For anything else: memberindex.css from admincp as all other vB css files

ForceHSS 03 Jul 2015 16:39

it would be better if it was done without having to change anything

Thanks,

1.- I've turn on my site to check the demo.
2.- Social icons are a 3nd party plugin so it's difficult to change it. If I understood well you want to use static icons instead the rollover effect. Right?

Justinphx 03 Jul 2015 20:50

I just get a error when accessing the members list after installing. I did set the usergroups.

you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation

Thanks for replying.

I wanted to install this mod, and wanted to see if the social profile icons can appear under the user id , like in that picture! or maybe is just better to install that modification instead.

Thanks

Can you check if usergroup permissions have saved?

Wow, that looks great! I'll give it a try, thanks for sharing, Christos :)

The link is active but some hours before I changed the nameservers to point to my new server. In some hours the same link should works.

PS: I just tried the link at for me it works. Don't know if I'm seeing the old server or the new one. Most probably I'm still viewing the old server.

I found the issue and it was my error. I renamed the admincp directory and loaded total slipped my mind.

This mod is excellent and working perfect for me. Thanks for sharing your work.

For sure credits_charge is not a field name used by Memberlist. Most probably you've uninstalled a mod which was using this field name.
