Where would you like PHP hooks in vBulletin 5.2. and higher?

vBulletin 5.2.0 adds PHP Hooks to the system. While the basic system is in place, we need to know where you would like the hook locations to be within the processing of the code. We can't just replicate every vBulletin 4.X hook due to changes in the template structures. So we're asking you were good places to put the hooks would be.

Please download the current Alpha of vBulletin 5.2.0 and let us know where you would like them to be placed. Create a separate entry in JIRA for each request.

Information on the new hook system, including how you can add hooks to your own copy of vBulletin for testing, is located here: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forum...63#post4334163

Giving this a bump as we could do with some feedback. :)

I would like to see a hook for placing stuff inbetween posts, I had to do a huge workaround to get this done.

Also I would like to see hooks on performing certain actions such as posting a new thread/reply, editing it and deleting it, so those actions can trigger my custom scripts.

The info in the link in post #2 gives the info needed to put hooks where you need them to test your mods. Then you can give the feedback necessary in the jira for them to add the hooks in the production releases. The file that handles posting new threads/replies is /includes/vb5/frontend/controller/createcontent.php.
