Managed to get it working :-)

We have a last man standing competition called '3 and out' were user have 3 lifes and a life goes if you pick a boxing result wrong,

On the Tournaments, Ladders & Leagues Manager v4.x LMS you start with 0 points. Is there anyway I can edit my tournament to start with 3 points?

It starts with whatever amount you put in.. Just do the math yourself..
Start them with 3 points, & edit after each round.
I used to use that for a similar tournament, just edit each persons points after each event/round. It sorts them by point total, so it keeps the winner on top that way.

I must be missing something, I cant see a option to start then with 3 points.

Were abouts is it?

Once everyone has entered & you "Start" the tournament, there will be edit buttons/links that you can edit each persons score/points, then after each round you just do the math yourself, & it reorganizes them according to point totals. (higher score is in the lead so if they still have 3 points they would be ahead of someone with only 2 points or lower) :)

Thats very time consuming, especially if you say have 100 people + enter.

Yea, 100 would be annoying. lol
But if you're willing to put in the time, it works great like that. I use it for racing series (usually 16 or less)

I'm having issues with the Ladder system. Players can not challenge anyone else (Doesnt show up)

Cant Submit themselves to "Find Match", that doesnt show up either and cant check "Ladder Challenges" because those also dont show up...

Is there a demo site to see the 'Race mode for leagues' in action? I'm very interested but would want to see if it would work for us before paying up.

This one is nothing like the Arcade mod mate,This allows you to run your own Ladders and competitions on any game/Console/Pc and record or Set out the Draws and leagues etc

It's more of an organizer, displaying fixtures/results/etc for running tournaments/leagues/ladders/etc.

So ibarcade you can have a tournament of one of your arcade games, whilst this modification you could organise whatever you like (e.g. xbox tournament, race) and then submit results into system.

Double check your Usergroup Permissions and make sure you have included the groups allowed to View and use the ladders

You need to give usergroup permissions to view ladders or view tournaments.

Can double elimination tournaments not have more than 8 teams still? I was searching through the update notes and it seems like it was implemented in past versions, but ours still isn't work despite running 6.0.0.

Is that a feature only available in Premium or is it still not available at all? We wanted to get our tournament going ASAP, so I'd appreciate any info you have.

Is there a manual that goes with this to know what everything does.?
Like differences between leagues, ladders, tourneys, race mode, groups, seasons, etc.. If you have n't used this all along, it is pretty confusing to start. lol

Also i have a small issue.. the 1st banner in rotation is centered, while the rest are all left justified.?
Any idea why, & is this something i can change easily.?

Still love to get my head around this mod & that manual. ;)

In a category i have ladders, tournaments & leagues all listed, but the tournaments (listed first) is about 500px wide, then next is ladders & only about 200px wide, then 3rd is leagues & only about 400px wide.!?


Also & not sure if related or not, but the title of the 1st ladder get wrapped even tho it is the shortest title it goes onto a 2nd line.!?

I have to disable it for each usergroup.?
Shouldn't turning it off, turn it off for everyone.

It was only enabled for admin, but turning it off really should just turn it off. lol
(maybe a faster/easier way would be in plugin manager.?)

we had this working perfectly on Vb then we did the latest patch update now it will not show in the Nav bar.. Any ideas?

Just tried this Race Tournament

In the option to select positioning it lets me save every position except 1st
It gives me the option in the drop down box but will not save it, i had to slect 2nd twice just to be able to finish the event

A quick question is there a way to make it so a player can join another team apart of a different competition? I'm hosting competitions for two different games currently and I some players want to compete in both, but be apart of different team.

One more problem, everytime I make a tournament I try to change the team slot count from 32 to 22, I do that, start the tournament and then it changes back to 32. and adds bye player for 11 teams....

The way single elimination tournament brackets work, they need to be as 4 players, 8, 16, 32 players,etc.

It is LMS tourney. Is there an issue currently I am unaware of? I apologize for any inconvenience. It does the same either if the tourney has started or not currently.

I did figure out it was LMS. Could you advise on the issue with that currently? I changed it to single elimination and it works.

I believe that it has to do with the slide show and how it centers the image, perhaps making it align left would work best. Just my thoughts and that doesn't say much considering I know minimal coding.

Question: I would like to define a set size for the banner you see above. If you notice the screenshot I shared, I want to make it fit just perfect. Which will allow me to use the area appropriately. Suggestions? It would be best to left align that image area.

So are you trying to resize the banner images?

What I am thinking in my head: "If I could left align the image to match up with the Uncategorised Tournaments, then I could determine the appropriate pixel width to reach the uncat ladder edge and make it look like a perfect fit. Does that help?

I am not trying to resize the image, rather work in the boundaries that allow my image to be the appropriate width. Or at least that is what I am thinking.

I have a similar issue, but if all the images are the same size.. my only issue is that the 1st image in rotation stays centered, while the rest all go left align.?

Before i did something so that when creating a challenge for a ladder i could choose a map that the game would be played on....

Im trying to set up a single elimination cup with 12 teams and when i add teh teams it auto makes it a 16 team cup with bye teams ??

The amount of teams that you selected have to be and even "rooted" number as I call it. If you have 12 teams, then you have 6 after round one, then 3 after round two(this is your issue), 1 team has no one to play which results in an error.)

If it was 16,8,4,2,Winner! Then it would be just fine. Hope that helps :)

Ok i got a small problem again...

I have a singles ladder and when players create a challenge if they do not specifically put the time in a certain way the challenge does not show up correctly, they get no error ect..

But i can see it in all challenges and delete it ect ....

Is that a bug ?

It looks like you need to reduce padding/margin on left then it will align with uncategorised tournaments.

I think I found a solution for future changes. If you would allow for a Height entry and Width entry instead of just a category pixel of height and width which now have to be the same size. If I make it 300px then it spaces the categories out too much.

For me everything tournament and ladder wise is fine
Its the league system that is just to much trouble setting up,etc

It needs to be made a whole lot more easier and efficient

I would love to see:

Create New League:

(In Options)
How many divisions and name divisions as currently it has the option to name but it does not work for me

Set the league to run for a set amount of weeks

Automatically set the fixtures so each player in each division players each other once per week
Allow both player to comment on a date and once agreed BOTH players have to check a box to set the date

Once the game has finished BOTH players have to check a box to submit the correct scores

If a score does not match a notification should be sent to admins

Just done a clean install of the premium version and I'm now getting the navbar template repeating a few centimeters down from the original navbar when the Competitions Tab is enabled but only on the search page. Before I start fiddling has anyone else experienced this and can give any clues as to what may be causing it?

Agreed, the League stuff shouldn't be tied to tournaments or ladders except maybe to get some ladder xp for winning, like tournaments.

A league should be a completely separate thing..

• Leagues are an ongoing competition, with seasons (that can be tied together or not), but much less complicated. (think sports.. NFL, MLB, Futbol, etc.. Shooter clans will work just as well, just easier to picture how it would be set up using real life scenario)
• Tournaments are a one time entity. (Could be similar to a league, in that it may have rounds, but not seasons)
• Ladders are for whatever amount of time you like.. kind of like a Hall of Fame for whatever time period you set. :)

I can't even imagine how much work this stuff is to create & edit to make changes etc, so don't take this as anything but idea/suggestion. :up:

Really have to have a way for users to submit there own scores for teams, also from league into knockout stages doesn't work poperly, it randomly just puts teams together instead of winner of group 1 plays runner up of group 4 or whatever so there is no reward for winning a group.

Hi guys, I have installed this app and have run three successful tourneys! Gotta say I love it so far! only problem is I can't create a ladder. Whenever I click the add button, it just takes me to the league for the current category. When I click add there, it just refreshes the current page. any thoughts?
