Question Remove option at CPUser

Hello guys,

I would like to know how to disable the option attachment in the user CP so that anyone has permission to erase already posted files.

The problem is that some users with bad intentions erase the files without notifiying the staff of the forum.

So because of that i want to eliminate the option attach management from the user CP so that they cannot erase them using this option

Regards

Br.....

Removing that from the User CP will not stop them from removing them.

Thanks SSslippy.!!

Ok

I understand this only won't prevent them from deleting, but i really need to disable this option.

I already disabled their permission to edit and delete by usergroups as a security measure, so what i just need is how to delete the option manage attachment from their CP User and what else can i do to prevent users from deleting and editing their own files........

Thanks a lot

Br...

If they can't edit the post, then they shouldn't be able to edit the attachments. See vboptions > attachments options to also set some other options.
