I use WinSCP, and after reloading the files again, still not working. not sure what to tell you. This is not my first rodeo at adding hacks to vb.

Not sure this will be helpful in your situation.

I use a local test board, when I have problems like this. Having the server local allows me to see what the server response was to the client submit. I then add a php backtrace to the source script on the offending submit -- until I find where the application went wrong.

Check Dragonbyte's support site. You may find other users that have a similar problem.
Try not to run alpha software in a production environment.

If you do have a local server environment let me know and we can easily find out what is going on.

Thanks Ozzy, I see it now.

So looks like the the whole thing is tossed in the signature (after_content) area. I was thinking the buttons should be in the actual postfoot, like next to the "report post" icon (in the same line). Only the "who clicked buttons" would be in the signature area, and it should be collapsable.

ok my issue after trying to reinstall is that the installation is getting stuck after Altered Table Forum, it has to be the post table which is huge. Anyway to get around the timeout?

I have installed this hack (lite) in my forum but somehow, I am not able to make it work. The install went successfully without any errors, but when I click on the "Manage Buttons" link in ACP, I am getting this error :



The thanks and like buttons are not showing up in any posts.

Short of manually doing all the installation steps, you may wish to edit your PHP configuration to allow scripts to override the timeout - that way, you can leave it running until it finishes

Enable "Can Require Click" for your usergroup, and edit the post in question using the Go Advanced form to "Require Thanks to see content"

Do you still not need to put the text inside the hide bb code but doing what you say here only works if you put it inside the bb code first and only if you have added it to your Custom BB Codes. Or am I wrong and you have another way it auto goes in?

I have the pro version but I done what you said above and it did not work until I used my custom bb code

Then you may have another mod conflicting, as by default it works as a virtual BB Code.
