Hi Members,

asked on vb.com I want to describe how you can add ads, banners or other stuff under a special forum.
This is also working with styles with seperated categories.

There is no limit, you can nearly add everything you want.

Check the admincp for the forumid where you want to put the Code.

Open forumhome_forumbit_level2_post and scroll all the way down.
Right above $childforumbits add

where 21 is the forumid you checked in your admincp.

Example:

Additional Info:
The ForumID you are entering MUST be a forum and cannot be a category to work!

Have fun

Tee-hee. Good post, this should (hopefully) answer the endless number of threads asking how to do this.

What if you wanted the banner to show up ABOVE a forum category? I have regional forums that id like to have a banner above, but not be shown at the bottom of the category above it, where the banner looks like its apart of a different category...

Edit: I figured it out...just place this script ABOVE the rest of the code in forumhome_forumbit_level2_post
