Question Share login session

I have own my site. I try to use VB5 as my forum. So I need to use my login session with VB5. How can I share my site session with VB5. (And this is my first time to use VB software.)
The other question is;
If I change some on login page, do I need to reset cache?

vBulletin doesn't use php sessions. You need to write custom code to validate the user data in some way.
