Force avatar on users with none
released on 07-okt-2010 Require : This mod require the forum to have atleast 1 avatar installed. About : Was tired of users with no avatar, and the "default avatar" addon didnt add avatars so other mod's could use them.. this does add avatars just as if the user selected one. Via cron adds avatar defined by administrator on all users. Possible to set which avatar users get. Possible to exclude sertain usergroups, by default admin, mod and sup admin are excluded. Demo 's: Kinda hard, cause its a cron job, with a default timer set for 10 minuttes between updates.. Im running it on this site ( Tebt ) but there is nothing to see, users will just get a avatar (real avatar) so its possible to fetch_avatar_url for other mods. I installed product, set it up, ran the cron but I don't see the avatar displayed in any of the mods that call to the avatar?

Did you also make sure that the avatar you set in settings EXIST ? tryed it on 3 different sites, one windowsbox, unixbox and normal freebsd. servers. what it does, is to actually change the avatarid which means if you dont see anything, then the avatarid is set wrong! please be more specifik when reporting a problem, or link, does your database user table under avatarid have any 0's ? after running the cron job.. if looking on Cms board are you watching your browsers cache or site cache instead of live ? How about you explain it a little better? Fetch what url and where? If you need to define something else with the admin cp or template, you need to include that in your instructions.

Hello,
I am using 4.1.0 PL2.. I have installed this and it does not seem to be actually setting avatars to every one. We have one installed avatar in our system and the cron folder has been uploaded to the correct directory No members have liked this post.

Nothing found after install.
I found in the VB option it was mentioned as user ID 1 to get changed but which is for Administrators. I changed it to 2 which is for Registered users always members will be in large count in this ID. I found no change. No members have liked this post.

Just installed it. Doesn't work. Came here for help, and I see the last reply for help was in 2010.
What exactly is the criteria for a mod to get the big blue "Supported" checkmark at the top of a mods page? No members have liked this post.
