Activity stream

How do I prevent it from capturing activity from particular areas or disable it altogether?

It does show based on the user's permissions.

I wrote this over on vb.com on how to edit it to not show certain forums:

Currently, in vb/activitiystream/view/perm/forum/post.php and thread.php, add this to the query:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

change 2 to whatever forum you like or add several like:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

If I post some CSS and don't say where it goes, put it in the additional.css template.
I will NOT help via PM (you will be directed to post in the forums for help.)

I gave you an example of what you need to do. That example excludes certain forums from showing. If you want to do other areas, then you would do something similar in the other files.

And just for you boofo, dear - http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBIV-15186
