Talking Question about produkt vBSEO vbulletin generation 5

Hello

Brothers, I have a question, does vBSEO product work without any problems with vbulletin 5.7.1

Or does the vBSEO product need to be updated to work with vbulletin 5.7.1

Waiting for your reply, thank you very much

VBSEO has been OUT of business for years. Their software is riddled with security vulnerabilities. It has been advised for years that it needs to be uninstalled ASAP.

I am not under the opinion that software like this is necessary any longer as search engines have improved drastically over the years and can crawl many places they previously could not.

If you "must" have an SEO plugin then look to DragonByte. However be advised their VB software is NOT updated and very poorly supported these days.

Thank you very much for your response

Why not develop the VBSEO add-on, fill its security gaps, and add new features to it?

The addition is very, very important, especially when creating maps with a very large number of pages, up to 50,000 pages

This is very useful for strengthening the SEO of the site with Google

Is it possible to develop it?

waiting for your response

First I would not touch their stuff with a ten-foot pole. The amount of time and effort it would require, you might as well just start from scratch as the cost would be astronomical. The DBSEO solution is a direct replacement and includes an importer. But again, SEO has drastically changed and plugins like this are boarder line inadequate not to mention becoming outdated in terms of PHP compatibility as well as having a few issues in itself.

The problem is as outdated as VB 4 is, it still can be a viable solution. But it does require an investment if you want to keep pushing it forward.
