Spice up your forumtitle's with custom font using Cufon text replacement.
I tried this in my forum works just fine under default vB4 (Should work for vB3 too.)

- Download the Cufon library, i have used YUI compressed library. also attchd.
- You need to generate font script now, It is recommended you use Free fonts.
10 Free fonts for Cufon.
You can generate font js file using this generator http://cufon.shoqolate.com/generate/
For ex: i have added Museo_500_400.font.js with this attchmnt.

UPLOAD Both these files to forum root folder.

- edit headerinclude and add these scripts.

find:

add after:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

And walah your forumtitle's will be now replaced, all h2 declarations in your forum will be changes to Museo 500 font.

Changing Multiple heading.
You can change as many heading you want but you just need to assign a font family to it.
For ex:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

IE explorer annoyance
In most cases, there is a short but visible delay before the text is replaced. You can avoid this issue by inserting the following snippet right before the closing </body>.

Hey, this probably happens when you generate your font file.
By default only latin characters are added, you need to generate your font file again

Should work with any font you can embed but you cannot embed commercial fonts unless u are allowed to. But yes any font u embed can be seen by everyone, it doesnt require the viewers to have that font in their PC.

These don't appear to be showing for me?

I'm using this font http://www.dafont.com/val.font as it's what I use in my logo.

My code is as follows.

Val_900.font.js is the file that was generated, I uploaded that along with the cufon-yui.js you attached, what am I doing wrong?

This Mod can run in 3.8 too

@ cableguy
There shouldnt be any problem, if there is, the only probable reason could be js conflicting with other js in ur forum. Anyway jus post demo to your site where u using this perhaps i can take a look.
