This modification will allow your members to RSVP to events on the vBulletin calendar. By default, members can respond "Yes," "No," or "Maybe," as to whether or not they will be able to attend an event, but you can modify or add to the list of responses members are presented with as you desire.

Features
  • Specify some or all of your calendars to use the RSVP system.
  • Set whether an event accepts RSVPs during event creation / edit.
  • Allow members to specify if they will be bringing a guest.
  • Event owners can set the maximum number of guests each member may bring.
  • Events can be set to close RSVPs on the day of the event or before.
  • RSVP comments (up to 65k character limit, configurable)
  • Timestamped RSVPs
  • Moderators and event owners can remove member RSVPs from events.
  • Attendance list can be set to display member avatars.
  • Improved handling of differing timezones and daylight saving times.
  • Configurable Response options. You aren't stuck with Yes, No, Maybe. You can setup whatever responses you want.
  • Ability to specify a maximum number of attendees for an event. After the maximum is reached, you can configure members to either receive an error or have their response (RSVP) automatically changed to something else. This could be used to create a wait-list bucket, for instance.
Requirements

I've had this mod since it came out for vb4 and I haven't been able to use this fine mod at all. I gave Farcaster admin privileges on my site and he said he knew how to fix it, then I never heard from him again. I'd be willing to toss dough his (or anyone's way) if they could just get it working on my site.

I have same error as 'sweetpotato'. Running vb 4.1.0 and the date doesn't show up correctly for RSVP selection. When selection is made, you get "not a valid selection." I'm definitely tagging this until it's improved but it's a disabled mod at this point. Great feature if it can get sorted out though!

I am getting this error too.

As well as this below each RSVP:

{rsvp:var rsvp.comment}

Also, the date displays a day earlier on the sidebar.

I have 4.07 running.

I had the same problem, just corrected the product (see attachment) for this problem and the date problem, hope this will help other

Totally having issues RSVPing now. I am using 4.1.1 and when I put in a comment and mark attending or whatever... I get: Invalid Action Specified when trying to update.

I was getting the error about the invalid selection but ever since I did the new fix posted today in the BBR thread... I just get Invalid Action Specified. The BBR fix was for a date/time issue.

Please update to 4.1.1. Thank you.

I still face the problem though have tried OlijO update. Maybe only the author of this mod can fix it.

Wow - someone used the RSVP feature on my site and it worked. No more Array error - not sure when it started working but apparently it fixed itself. I have a sneaky suspicion it started working when I converted my server off of WAMP and onto true Apache, MySQL, and PHP installations.

I tryed the update and does not fix {rsvp:var rsvp.comment} issue. Also it will not let me add a new RSVP. I am running 4.1.1. on the custom theme.

What issue are you seeing?
I have a little spare time at the moment - if you want to PM me an account on your site I could check it out and see if there's anything I can do..
Can't promise anything - but if it's a quick fix we might get it sorted.

EDIT: Just to be clear - a user account with event creation, subscription and response permissions is what I need - not admin. I'll get you to screenshot anything I need from admin.

Thank you for your help. It seems to work on my site now. At first when add RSVP and submit it turned blank page and now when I create a test account it works.

I love this Mod so much because events are so important for my site.

Thank you for what you and other friends have provided for my site.

Notice: The super admin can not respond to RSVP, it turn blank page. Other members can respond successfully
