This is a box I put in the header of my site to change forum skins.

You can use it anywhere though.

Get HTML color codes from this site: http://html-color-codes.info/

This is my regular forum link:

http://the8thlegion.com/forum.php

This is my forum link after switching to the next style:

http://the8thlegion.com/forum.php?styleid=185

For this line of the code, make the style ID number match your skin.

The code in green is the name of your style.

Write the style name where it is in blue.

The code in red is where you change the color inside the box.

Your welcome. Funny thing is, it's right there at the top and most members still don't see it.

smh

This is great! Thank you so much.

Can it perhaps be put to the left of the search field? (On navbar) Will it work there, by just inserting your code there? Or would I need to do something else to get it working there?

Thanks for the help!

Sure! Go here:

AdminCP/Styles and Templates/ Style Manager / Edit Templates / Navigation and Breadcrumb Templates / navbar

Search for:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

Put the option box directly after.

I tried that, but then it places the box right next to the last entry on my navbar. I would like to have it right to the left of the search box. Thanks.

One more question please. How can I add a field, like a category in the list? I want to add 2 categories. One saying 'Dark Skins' followed by all my dark skins, and 1 saying 'Light Skins' followed by all my light skins. Is that perhaps possible?

Thanks for the help!

I dunno^

Style Switcher like vb.org

http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=249919

Put this code at the bottom of your headinclude: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showp...1&postcount=15

Then use the HTML code provided in MoMan's first post.

Just copy-n-paste the whole code and put it underneath to add more styles.

this will be nice for multiple languages. Can that be done just by changing the phrases?
