I believe Paul did in the first quote above... Basically it should boil down to this, if it was insecure it is quarantined until the coder fixes it and colored Magenta for a reason. Otherwise it could be any number of issues besides that and it will have it said in RED that it's in the the graveyard, it's their (Admins/Mods of this site) discretion whether or not to post the reason every single time. That leaves the mind to wonder so be careful what you think up!

I wanted to confirm what is this:

I am unsure what exactly is copyright reasons. If I take any idea from the modifications listed in GraveYard and hire any coder/developer to accomplish that task for me.
Will that create copyright issues for our website ?

I have seen many modifications in GraveYard have been customized on other sites.. the idea atleast (with a fresh new code probably).

If the code is entirely rewritten from the ground up and not resembling that of any previously released modification then you're safe

What Simon Lloyd said. I think the reason that's in there is mostly because some people will actually upload someone else's code as a mod, without their permission.
