Move the register/login thing above the logo.

Hi, I've been wanting to get a cleaner look for the top of the forum and I find this to be ideal. Question is how do you move the register/login part above the banner like that?

I went to the site in your signature (first line), and it appears you might get what you want if you include this in your "additional.css" template(s):

Hi thanks, that did the trick! How can I add a gradient color behind it?

Do you mean all the way across the top, or just within the box containing the form elements?

All the way across.

--------------- Added 22 Jan 2016 at 19:51 ---------------

Also, I added that css to the blackened theme but it affected the mobile friendly blackened theme instead... odd.

It did nothing for the original blackened theme even though I edited it's additional.css

Try this:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

And of course edit the gradient to your liking. I only included the W3C compliant code...I use this site to generate gradient CSS for multi-browser support:

Pretty cool thank you.

I think the only thing left I need to figure out is the navbar below the logo so they don't get squished when the page resizes.

They kindof overlap each other if you resize your browser.

Sorry, I missed this as it was merged.

When you edit a template, if the child styles' corresponding template has not been edited itself, then it will inherit changes made to the parent.

Odd though, it should have affected both, not just the child.

Yeah I can go back and look at both additional.css files and the changes are there for both.

I would suggest giving the body element a minimum width...for example:

Thanks that latest change made google insight spit out an error..

The page content is 935 CSS pixels wide, but the viewport is only 468 CSS pixels wide. The following elements fall outside the viewport:

I think it's pretty solid for most mobile users though.

Okay...I guess another solution (other than a minimum width) will have to be found for mobile devices.

Speaking of other solutions, is there any way to make this happen? I think in the top right I'd rather have login/register buttons.
