I have fixed the fconnect button on my site. I realised that if I went to x.com and not x.com/content.php that the button was there. I was able to track it down.

Solution:
facebook_header - remove hidden from fb_headerbox

It looks like the FB Like is actually on the page but set to a size of 0x0. I am trying to track that down as well.

add:
<script src="http://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1"></script>

to facebook_likebutton. this will make the like button appear. I stumbled on this when I tried to add the button from fb generated code. I then had 2 buttons. So I removed the code and left the script and it is now working.

There are some parts of the template that are incomplete.

In the user profile the colours aren't right:

http://s144.photobucket.com/albums/r...eezefault3.jpg

The heading font is black and unreadable.

http://s144.photobucket.com/albums/r...eezefault2.jpg

Also on the forum front page the "whats going on" section doesn't match the other forum colours.

Can anyone advise how to fix these?

Turns out the fb connect is still not working on my site. If I change themes everything is fine so I am sure it is a theme issue. So for those looking for the fix, the one I mentioned before only make the button visible, doesn't actually make it useful.

To fix the fconnect button add the following code just above the last closing div tag in the footer

<vb:if condition="$vboptions['enablefacebookconnect']">
{vb:raw facebook_footer}
</vb:if>

This style works on vB4.0.1.
Now with vB being on v4.1.4 there are a lot of changes to the templates, which have broken several aspects of this Style. This means a LOT of tweaks have to be made to the style to get it to fully function & look right on vB versions above 4.0.1.

Also, no updates in over a year, even with multiple people having issues (with no support). Not to mention that your demo website has been hacked, so no one can view it anyway. I would suggest everyone stay away from this Style, unless you want to do a bunch of fixes/updates to it yourself. Those of us who have it working, just fine (like the author implies about hs site) installed it way back on 4.0.1 and have upgraded the template along with vB to 4.1.4.

Great theme! One problem I can't figure out is why the category bar doesn't stretch on my forum.

Any ideas on how I can fix this? Thanks

What version of vBulletin are you using? This Theme is only compatible with 4.0.1, and must be upgraded along with the forum, to get it to work on newer versions.
