$admin variable in functions.php

this is maybe a stupid question, but I wont know until someone tells me I'm stupid. :dead:

Is it possible to put a variable in the functions.php file ?

Ie you have a option in the admin options and it is stored as a variable, is it possible to have this work in the functions.php so I can do a conditional against it ?

Thanks

Hmm...
Xenon and Erwin are about to become the new administrators of vBulletin.org! Now that you found the secret, would you like to post and let everyone else know about it or keep it to yourself and at the end say "I told you so"?

of course it is, but you have to globalize it in every function you use it (likt $db_site is for example..)
