This is really painful. It felt like I had a birthday waiting for this page to load.

It's been happening on my end for a couple of days now too. It seems like once it comes up it loads fine but it's the wait for it that takes a while.

painful is the right word.

Is there an agenda to make people think 3.6 is much slower than 4 I wonder?

Step 1: Replace dev team
Step 2: Jack up prices
Step 3: Jack up queries
Step 4: Ruffle up the code
Step 5: Release with record number of bugs
Step 6: Kill off .org
Step 7: BB sells recently purchased shares in IPB and makes millions. vB is exclusive to IB sites.

It's been slow for me as well.

It's probably due to 30,000+ members asking when their favorite modification is going to be released for 4.0. Or the other dozen of us clamoring for Sphinx search...
