After registration, send users to different landing pages: possible?
I am considering using bulletin for my website forums, and I need some special functions. I was wondering if people here could let me know if what I need is possible with bulletin. It's a bit complicated but I'll do my best to make it clear. Here it goes:
On my website I will be selling several e-programs to people. Each program is contained in a downloadable file. But each program also includes registration on my site forums. I'm picturing that people will purchase their program, and be taken to the payment system for ebulletin registration. They will make payment, and be taken to the forums, where there will be a "program download link" prominently displayed on the first page they land on. If that much is possible so far, the question then is: Is there a way to set up a number of different landing pages, each containing a different download link, so that once the person has registered, they would be directed to the corresponding landing page for the respective program that they purchased? I hope that makes sense. Anybody know if it can be done with vbulletin? No members have liked this post.

It would be possible if you coded it, but if you are asking if I know if someone has already coded something like this, no I do not know. I haven't seen anything like that before. There is no reason it can't be done though as this is just php and you can go in and do what you want.

Try a search before posting for help. Many users won't, and don't, help if the question has been answered several times before. W3Schools - Online vBulletin Manual If I post some CSS and don't say where it goes, put it in the additional.css template. I will NOT help via PM (you will be directed to post in the forums for help.) No members have liked this post.

OK thank you Lynne. That is what I thought, but wasn't sure. So it's a matter of finding someone who can code this for me. Well I"m glad to hear it is possible...
