Profile Welcome Message - Users can add a message at the top of their profile

This modification is in the archives.
This modification allows your users to add a Profile Welcome Message to the top of their profile page. They can edit the message inline while viewing their profile, or in the User CP.
Installation: (1) Import the XML product file, (2) Create a User Profile field, (3) Insert the profile field ID number in the Profile Welcome Message Options. Recommended Profile Field settings:

Is there any way to allow the profile text to parse bbcode?

First of all the usergroup permissions issue. This is not very easy to deal with, since by default vBulletin has no way of allowing/disallowing a user profile field based on usergroup. So it would take some hacking to hide the profile field in their user cp. I'll look into this if I get time, but no guarantees.
