How to display birthdays in the events reminder ?

Maybe I am just a moron but I can not figure it out.. if I add an event it will show up but birthdays are not showing up..

Display Today's Birthdays?
Displays today's birthdays for those usergroups that have birthday display enabled (see User Groups->Usergroup Manager).
SET TO YES
