Not Supported Template Edits Is in Beta Stage

Hello, what this mod does is allows users to have a "Video Avatar" if they are a member of the usergroup you specify.

Installation instructions are attached. See screen shots below to get an idea of what it looks like.

UPDATE! I recorded a video of me installing it on a blank board. The video should help anyone having trouble. There are a couple extra things like me closing my password manager that you should ignore, but the video will show you what to do.

Installation Video Instructions

You can change the height and width of the video by changing the attributes in the code.

It requires one template edit, 2 if you use both postbit styles.
It requires one profile field.

I am new to the modding still, and my instructions here aren't great, but you can see it in action here.

UPDATE!
To Display them in your user profiles
open the memberinfo template
find

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

Replace with

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

Be sure you replace all fieldXX with your actual field number!

Not necessarily. If you have it wrapped in a conditional that's permission based, then that would cause the same effect. I'm speculating of course. Post your template code like the others did and we may be able to see what's causing it. Often times its something small like a character out of place.

I was getting the same error as you so I switched from:

<div class="smallfont">

to:

<td class="alt2">

with the respective closing tag </td> and it works fine.
Thank you so much, I was about to give up on this hack!

Just a few things. The avatar isn't centered. It's fine if you have a YouTube video, but my user's avatar are left-aligned. It looks like crap. Anyway to fix that?

And its not viewable in your profile or the homepage, only in threads. Not that big of a deal.
Man it is stil working perfect except the LEFT aligned problem. I have the same problem with you.. did you find any solution to center all avatars ?

Anyone plz ?

I haven't fooled with the 3.7 templates all that much yet, but shouldn't the code be exactly the same?

most excellent works fine on 3.7 gold .now if you can give me instructions on how to do continuous play that would be even better., first response in a thread has this option is "the only one that plays continuous"

This did not work for me on Vbulletin 3.7. It was close, but the template edits were a bit off. It messes up the entire postbit. Anyone have any ideas?

most likely it is something small and easy to work around 98% of this stuff is

I have it working on 3.7.0. Same/similar code. In what way does it mess up the template? A common theme is the avatar appearing above the user info (ranks etc). The way around this is to look at your original template and find the bit in between:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

and
Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

It could be something like:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

And change the
Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

in the installation guide to your original code above.

Be sure to change the closing tag from div to td if this is the case.

It's very early, I'm not sure if that made any sense. :/

It messes up the template in that it makes another column to the right of the postbit, and places all the user info fields above the first postbit, it's probably just a small table error
