Remove Thread Views on Forum Display

This modification is in the archives.
This is a simple template edit to Remove Thread Views from the forum display when viewing a forum section with threads in it. Some people like to do this to reduce people from complaining about "I have 200 thread views and only 3 replies... waaaahhh", so this is a simple thing you can do to eleviate those annoyances on your forums.
**TIP: COPY these two templates & paste them into your Notepad program and save them to your hard drive as .txt template backups in case you need to restore the original code then easily. I always like to warn people to make backups just in case heh. OK then... on to editing... Templates to edit: 2 =================== FORUMDISPLAY template =================== Find this code:

Replace it with this code:
Find this code:

If anyone has anything to add to this, please do
. I'm no whiz with coding, so this is my first attempt to help out like this.Also I know there is a similiar version of this for 3.6 template mods, but this one requires some slight code modification as well as deletions for use with 3.7.1 then. No members have liked this post.

Oh, so basically just put that line of code before each of those lines of code then Jase2, instead of deleting them?
Heh excuse my lack of understanding... I'm not too savvy with coding, so this is all a good learning experience for me; and others no doubt. Appreciate your input so far though

Haha cool bokmade.. that looks like a better mod for altering what guests can see. I mainly just posted this for those who just want to remove the Thread Views entirely for all viewers. Thanks for that link though... it should be useful for anyone viewing this one to have an optional one to try

Awsome! Did just as you said and it works perfectly!
Thanks! Installed! I have a few forums that have automated RSS Feed posts in the threads and I was getting nervous when some got more "looks" than others.
