There is no option , i just could erase Tops record but NOT "best ever."

when i tried to install a new arcade game on my board today

this error message always comes up

/home/saucerfo/public_html/testings/arcade/tmp is write-protected. Please change CHMOD to 0777 via FTP.

I changed the permission to 0777 but that error message always comes up

so how can i fix it then

did you set CHMOD to the /arcade directory and all its subfolders to 0777
?

and it still won't allow me to install any new games on it at all

so what else could be wrong then

thats all it could be it's a permission problem..
as long as its 777 all should work..

I don't see a "real" way to do this, but if I wanted to do this, I'd try deleting the game and reinstalling it. That would probably remove all scores, so I don't know if that is useful to you.

A more precise way would be to edit the database, but I just looked and couldn't find which table each game's Best Ever score is in. Perhaps someone here or in the support forum could provide that information.

Did you change the CHMOD of every folder and sub-folder?

I had a similar issue before where I had changed the CHMOD to 777 on the main folder, ticked the box to change all sub-folders too but when my ftp program was finished carrying out the command I found that half the sub-folders hadn't been changed. Had to do each folder individually to get it right.

Might be worth checking?
