Errors after upgrade

Just upgraded from 3.8 to 4 now with the hook system enabled I get

Fatal error: Call to a member function is_cloud_cachable() on a non-object in /home/XXX/public_html/includes/functions_search.php on line 537

With it disabled I get

MySQL Error : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 1

And none of my notifications\private messages work also new posts says there are no new posts even after I have posted. And I am using the vb4 default style.

Also when I click a forum name

Invalid Forum specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator

Thanks in advance.

Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php

If I post some CSS and don't say where it goes, put it in the additional.css template.

Did you go through and do all the update counters that you were told to do after the upgrade?

I ran almost all the update counters successfully, but when I try and run the rebuild search index I get

Warning: array_shift() [function.array-shift]: The argument should be an array in [path]/admincp/misc.php on line 143

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_max_id() on a non-object in /home/XXX/public_html/admincp/misc.php on line 161

and still no change in the other errors.

If you have ticket support, I would put in a ticket.

Otherwise, go to maintenance > diagnostics > suspect file version... do any *default* vbulletin files get listed there (I don't want to here about modification files)?

What version of php and mysql are you running?

Well I deleted vbSEO and now I can get into the forums and threads but if I try to create a new thread or click go advance on a post I get the error below also I still can't get into private messages. New posts don't show up in search either.

Invalid SQL:

SELECT
fd.thumbnail_dateline, fd.filesize, IF(fd.thumbnail_filesize > 0, 1, 0) AS hasthumbnail, fd.thumbnail_filesize,
a.dateline, a.state, a.attachmentid, a.counter, a.contentid, a.filename, a.userid, a.settings, a.displayorder,
at.contenttypes
FROM attachment AS a
INNER JOIN filedata AS fd ON (fd.filedataid = a.filedataid)
LEFT JOIN attachmenttype AS at ON (at.extension = fd.extension)
WHERE
a.posthash = '23b3b203006579550653d6ee2396eadb'
AND
a.userid IN (1)
AND
a.contenttypeid =

ORDER BY a.contentid, a.displayorder;

MySQL Error : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'ORDER BY a.contentid, a.displayorder' at line 15

Here is the error from trying to access my inbox

Invalid SQL:

This is still with your plugins disabled via the config.php file?

When you removed vbseo, did you make sure to also remove the .htaccess you needed to add for it? Did you get any errors when running the upgrade script? Now that vbseo is removed and the .htaccess file is removed, try running the upgrade.php script again.

Do you have a contenttype table? How many rows are in it?

It's a table in your database. Most people use some thing like phpMyAdmin to view their database and it's contents.

It isn't a file on your site - it's a table in your database. You may only view it if you use something like phpMyAdmin.
