That's mostly because of the (crappy) vbPortal software.

I have posted some suggestions for them, but they don't care.

Please use http://www.vbdrupal.org for vbdrupal support (and not this thread). Also, vbdrupal is a port of drupal, you need to use the vbdrupal files and not a standard drupal installation.

We (unrealadmin.org) were using phpNuke before we switched to vBulletin+vbPortal. phpNuke was a gigantic piece of crap and vbPortal wasn't much better. In fact, I'm not really surprised that their main site was compromised.

I already checked for subdreamer, but it has lack of plugins. And we need a tons of them, as portal is growing at light speed with new contents every day and with multiple addons, so I don't believe this program could manage it well.

Bump - has anybody sucesfully merged the typo3 and vB forum?

still in test but offers more functionality than Mambo/Joomla, drupal back end and vbulletin integration.

Worpress is just a blog software (which we are also looking to integrate), but its not fully cms whatsover.

just because many people cant define what an CMS is.

vBAdvanced, is not an CMS. He owns no standalone web-applications (modules) as articles, reviews, clasifieds, shop, content, newsletter and so on.

For exemple, vBPortal is more near to CMS definitions and Typo, Mambo, Joomla are CMS for real.

so, vBAdvanced is easy to integrate with vbulletin, vBPortal is also very easy you need just a few steps to integrate the styles.

Mambo and Joomla has "bridges" and "connectors" which are not 100% compatible with the vbulletin user table. There are many issues about.
