first of all, we asked q for answer so please if you reply, just talk about this topic & dont topic off
2nd: i have a commercial forum & there are some users who joined the forum for commercial use (something like a +++++ in satellite equipment) so i really need to check them continually. i hope it will be enough to understand the reason! No members have liked this post.

I find this quite useful when testing a new skin, because I can log on as somebody who hasn't logged on in ages so that I can see the "unread posts" icons.
SUGGESTION: Would it be possible to have something similar for "not logged in at all"? I'm currently fighting a bug with the header and the remember_me checkbox, which means I'm constantly having to log in to the admincp to try a tweak, then go to the forum and log out then go to the main forum page, to check to see if my latest tweak had any effect at all. One of the way to checkmate spammers.
I once have one that created 86 secret albums and some send unsolicited p.m to other members.

This works great via firefox, but I am having issues in IE8. I have tried clearing the cahe and still have an issue.
Once I click login as user I have to close IE and reopen my site to be logged in as the user. Once I do that I see the green bar at the top stating I am logged in as USER-X. If I do a refresh nothing happens and if I reload the page via bookmark I get an error. Any siggestions? Thanks for an awesome hack

Does this mod introduce any new security holes as a result of the integrated assume user permission system?

Experiencing this error whenever I try editing a members information I remember it being a problem in 3.8 so I will go take a look through that thread.
Just to confirm that it is this mod I disabled it and I don't get the error, whenever it is enabled I do. No members have liked this post.

This is great! Extremely helpful. It's pretty annoying not being able to answer questions from members about why they can't post, download, etc.; this hack makes it much easier to troubleshoot.
Minor (?) thing--I was able to use this mod with Chrome yesterday on a different (XP) machine; on this (Windows 7) machine, nothing happens in Chrome when I click Log In As User. It works fine in Firefox, though (even on this machine). Thanks! I have a couple of your hacks installed, and they are extremely helpful and practical.

There are MANY situations. A simple example--yesterday, a member said that he could not send PMs. I installed this hack to troubleshoot the error. Turned out that there was nothing wrong with the forum or his account. (I actually don't know why the problem occurred, but I was at least able to verify for myself that he could use the PM system.)
Basically, vBulletin, especially if you add hacks, has myriad combinations of permissions that make it difficult to know exactly what will happen on the users' side of things. With this hack, you can test various accounts to see whether they can use the various functions of the forum.

There is many minor bugs, so I diseble it, and enable it only when need it. (as biggazillakilla use it)
(One of it: opening someons profile, there is no avatar nor custom picture, can see it only in own profile) It works on VB4.1.0 PL2 No members have liked this post.
