vbseo sitemap generator - sitemap file not found

Nothing changed on my site.

Randomly over last few weeks, vbseo sitemap generator sometimes doesn't complete process of sitemap generation. Accessing sitemap then shows "sitemap file not found"

My site normally has 3 .gz files for the sitemap, and when it fails generating the sitemap_forum_3.xml.gz file isn't generated but the other 2 are .gz files are made

Running the sitemap generator manually Always fixes the problem. But its a hassle having to do this a few times per week

Any idea how to find root cause of issue? Again, sometimes the sitemap automatically generates.. Other times its as if it crashes out half way

Is it possible its a setting in php about the time a script can execute or something and that it times out?

I know vbseo isn't supported anymore, but hoping to resolve this one issue so don't need to switch away from it. This is only problem I've ever had

Running latest vb 3.8.7 pl 5 and latest vbseo

ok i think it might be related to PHP max_execution_time

i set the value to higher and will see if fixes

Questions/Problems regarding modifications/styles need to be asked in the modification/style thread. That is where the support for modification/style is - not out here in the main forums. Please note that if a modification/style is unsupported (or even if it says it is supported), you may be on your own if you chose to install it.

If you are having less then 50000 (threads + forumdisplay urls).
I will suggest making 49000 entries in single file and try again.
