Issue with url in the first post of a thread

Hi all
i noticed that any url thats part of the first post of a thread doesn't show up as a clickable link ..instead shows up as a plain text..it changes to a link once you hit edit button and save it...is there any way i could make vb4 recognize it as a link right from the first post...i see that this is not an issue in subsequent posts of a thread though..help pls

thx
arr

Tested on version v4.2.2. I cannot reproduce what you are seeing. Links on the first post (thread starter) within URL tags, or auto converted to URL tags were clickable in my tests.

What version of vbulletin?
What version of PHP?

Have you tried disabling the hooks/plugin system and test on vbulletin default style?

Have you tried disabling your plugins to see if you still have the same issue?

Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php
