Edit the search_memberform and locate
Change the size to match what the Search Size is. No members have liked this post.

That makes it much better, but does not solve it. The search boxes are now at the same size. There is no space between the box and the 'go' button. There should be 0.5 between them.

I can't get this to work on my new style or my CMPS portal pages. I've done the suggested, any other fixes?

Yes, vbadvanced handles the navbar in a different way than vbulletin. This is a bit annoying at times, but overall the vba team are very willing to find solutions. Please create a thread about this on www.vbadvanced.com/forum and post the link here. It might take some time before they respond.
I do not know about your new style, but it may be the same problem. No members have liked this post.
