Slow Boat to China on vB5?

Has anyone noticed that it takes a super long time to search or post on vbulletin.com ? Is this the trend on vB5?

My board is at 1,239,787 posts on vB3 and moving up even to version 4 would be a scary deal.

It takes about 600ms here to search random keywords at http://www.vbulletin.com/forum. What are you searching for?

Searches use sphinx and are very quick, so no. Posting takes 1 - 2 seconds at most, so again, no.

Well first of all you should not move unless you have a compelling reason to do so.
Never upgrade just for the sake of it.

The number of posts isnt really relevant going from 3 to 4.
Its a lot more relevant on (3,4) to 5, especially on the actual upgrade.
