Please help:)
Hey guys..I was wondering how I can make a html page for example: closed.html
and I want to close down my old friends website, since he wont be using it for sometime(moving back to europe) and he wants it off while he moves..but he asked me to make a page for him, whenever someone goes to lets say www.website.com/index.php or www.website.com/forum.php or anything after the "/" it would display the message that is written in closed.html.. i know you can shutdown the forum but he doesnt want anyone to know its there..so he wants one page to be displayed in all directories.. how would i do that? is it something in .htaccess? thanks ![]() No members have liked this post.

the tables will still be stored in the database. As long as he removes the forum folder and saves it somewhere locally he can easily upload it later and nothing changes, the forum is exactly as it was when he left it. If anybody has links to his forum directories they won't be able to get to them.

Yeah but most users have the /index.php and /forum/index.php directories as their favorites, It just would be alot more easier to just make htaccess file or something to block all directories and display a page..
