I found that a little suspicious as well. VBSeo is far better than any free application, in my opinion.
I'm still wondering, is there an easy way to rewrite user's pages so everything is rewritten, not just forums and threads? Also, is there anyway to rewrite it so when someone goes to showthread.php or whatever, that it redirects to the proper mod_Rewritten page? I don't want anyone being able to go to a regular thread, just the rewritten threads. No members have liked this post.

I have 20 replies before page splits, yet this hack forces my showthread to be 10, so it results in my forumdisplay to have the page numbers based on 20 replies and inside the thread there is 4 pages, when my thread should only be 2.

We stress tested the hack on our beta board and found one strange thing. If you name the a thread like this: "p2p macht das Forum kaputt, hehe" you will get "http://************/t19-p2p-macht-das-forum-kaputt-hehe.html"
You will always get to the second page off this thread. Also the pagenav for page shows: "http://******/t19-p-p2p-macht-das-forum-kaputt-hehe.html" you will get to the second page. I believe the first page must have a "p1" instead of only a "p".

something would have to be created in php itself. it would need to read the url and make a query if the pattern matched showthread.php. I haven't read through this entire thread so I appologize if this has been mentioned, but I noticed that the 'whos online' area will not display correctly if a user is viewing a re-written thread. It just shows 'viewing thread' without the link below it. You can tell they are viewing a re-written url by hovering over the question mark. No members have liked this post.

I've got a idea as alittle workaround for the WOL-Problem:
Couldn't you take the inforamtion, displayed in on the questionmark and parse it to the Line below "viewing Thread: " ? You can see it by the URL which Thread it is and its mor comfortable then waiting for the alt-tag on each single user.. No members have liked this post.

Hello Dean
If I install this mod but later decide to uninstall it, is there anyway to modify the htaccess so that any mod-rewritten pages indexed by google still find their way to the correct thread? No members have liked this post.
