post ribbons
Is there any addon for VB4 that adds a ribbon liek deal to the post for staff members or something like a postbit background for staff members?

What about this?
You can replace the staff image with what ever you like. It took me awhile to get the image aligned correctly, because once you add the image, the rest of the code pushes everything else down, and it doesn't look right. But after hours and hours of coding and starting from scratch, I finally got it right. lol Let me know if this is what you were looking for.

You could use a rank image. Assign the rank to all staff usergroups. It won't be in the top corner like what you linked, but it would appears in the postbit

I put together a simple add-on that will add a ribbon very simlar to the screenshot in the first post. I had to enlarge the image so that the inline mod checkbox wasn't obscured:
To use it, download the .zip file, extract and then upload the contents of the "upload" folder to your root directory, and then install the product .xml file. In the product settings, enable the product, and set which usergroups are staff.
