No, FAQ text is parsed as HTML I believe, so you cannot use BBCodes there.

@MarkFL, The mod is very useful.
But I have just faced a bug. When it is installed the "View forum post" of memberaction_dropdown in showthread.php does not work properly. But once I uninstalled it completely, it works. No members have liked this post.

This product should have no bearing on the memberaction_dropdown, as it has no plugins hooked there. What exactly is the difference in the dropdown menu when it is installed vs. when it is not?

There is nothing different in the string or url for the search but the difference come in the search result.
If you search view forum posts, you get result with older posts only and no new post shown. But if you search Find latest posts from the user profile, it gives everything. No members have liked this post.
