Flash Player Addon - DCR Flash Files

I really liked Erwin's Flash Player hack, but I also wanted to play flash files in the dcr format...so i decided to modify his php file and template to make a version that supports dcr format flash files. All the credit goes to Erwin and his great hack because the whole thing is based off his hack (and requires his hack).

hmm, idea, there alot alike, why not just intergrate them? have the php check the exstention of the file and have it show the correct template, one for swf and one for dcr

I could probably figure it out. But first I need to make a page-viewing system for my hack and fix this query thing. The vB way is Latin to me.

Thanks Erwin, I know this hack is simple, It's just that, well, it doesn't need much and I use it...and after all...it IS my first hack.
When i think of something good I'll make another hack.

Ok, here it is. This will play both SWF and DCR files. It does give priority to the SWF file, so if you have two files that are called the same, it will run the SWF.
It also makes sure the file exists, and if it doesn't gives out the error message. Finally, it capitalizes the first letter of the name to make it look nicer. To install, just overwrite flash.php, and overwrite both templates with the contents of the txt files with the corresponding names. I didn't think it is modification enough to create its own thread, so here you go. No members have liked this post.

I have a few, it's less popular than SWF, though all the games I've come across that are in DCR are some of the best I've ever found.

hi nice hack !! but the flashcombined doesn't seem to work.. when i try to play a DCR game with the flash gallery hack, i just see a big white square and that's all..
i wait 10 minute, but the file doesn't load.... When i do a right click on the square i see the flash plugin info, not shockwave.. thanks for your help No members have liked this post.

Ditto here as well, I get the small white shockwave icon showing its loading and nothing happens. Any basic problems I should know about?
