--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This modification has been withdrawn.
vBulletin 4.0.x and 4.1.x are no longer supported.

The feature is already built into the core vBulletin 4.2.x code.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This adds a simple display of all members who have visited the forum - either today (i.e. since the users midnight) or in the last 24 hours.

This modification cannot count guests, it is members only.

Note that installing this will automatically remove the "Member Tracking" modification.

The main features of the vB4 version are as follows ;

1. It displays the list on the Forum Home.
2. Invisible users are only displayed to those allowed to see them (with a "*")
3. Users who should display as coloured or bold etc will be displayed correctly (based on the display usergroup).
4. If you 'hover' over a username it will show the time they were last active.
5. The list is in member name order.
6. The ability to turn it on/off is in the ACP Options.
7. The ability to allow only certain usergroups to view the list is an ACP option (include or exclude groups).
8. An option to record and display the Most Ever Members can be enabled.
9. The switch between Visited Today and Rolling 24 Hours is an ACP option.
10. The listing of members can be suppressed (a simple message is displayed instead).
11. The list view is collapsable, so you just see the number .
12. The display can be set as always collapsed on initial page load.

(Options are in vBulletin Options > Who has visited today)

To install just download the XML and import into vB using the ACP Product Manager.

With the installation of Vb4.2, this mod is turned off by default by Vb4.2. However, you can turn it back on.

Is there a reason VB4.2 switches only this mod off during installation?

Why doesn't it show up until I re-enable the add-on then?

Never mind. Found it. Needs to be enabled in Settings.

Just because it's built in doesn't mean it's automatically enabled. You probably have to enable it somewhere.

Is the new core functionality using the same tables?

Will we keep our history if we switch to the built-in version?

In an older version of this mod, I remember there being a script that also showed all the pages that a particular user visited today. I believe that is what RenierZA is referring to. That page was highly useful and I'm still not used to it being gone.

I have to confess that was very useful and for that reason I have continued to use the mod rather than the core functionality.

Easy to do, just re-enable the product that the upgrader disabled, and ensure the core version of it is switched off.

Note that I strongly suspect the upgrader will disable the products on every upgrade so this needs to be on the upgrade "to do" list if you do go down this road.

That has never existed in this mod.
I believe you (and Mark) are thinking about the member tracking mod, which also displayed the same visit data as this on forum home.
A 4.2 version of that will be available in the next few days.

Nope, its part of the 4.2.0 Alpha 1 step so should only run once in normal upgrade sequences.

That is still stored the same way, so should not be lost if it already exists.

Correct, it was removed due to the confusion it causes on multi timezone sites. I will be releasing a little mini mod to add it back if you really want it.
