Question Want to assign orphan guest posts to new user

My user table became corrupted and in repairing the table corruption the last record was deleted.
This has left posts that are labeled with that user's old name but are marked as guest and are assigned to no user profile.

That user re-registered using the same name and has a new userid.

I would like to assign those orphaned posts to this new userid.

Please help.

You can use this quesry:
UPDATE *_post SET userid='xxxx' WHERE userid = 0 and username = 'Old user name'
*_post is the name of table post, it may have suffix at the beginning.
xxx is the userid of the new user who have registered again.
Old user name is the user name of them before.
