What is it? ---------------------------- This mod adds a "Search in Plugins" option to the "Plugins & Products" menu in the ACP. (Most likely of interest only to plugin developers). This is a similar idea to the "Search in Templates", but this mod will allow you to search the code of all plugins that you have installed for a given string. Installation: ---------------------------- 1) Upload the files in the upload directory to the appropriate locations. 2) In the Product Manager in AdminCP, import the product XML file (product-kh99plgsrch.xml). 3) Refresh page to see "Search in Plugins" option. Uninstalling: ---------------------------- 1) Uninstall the product from the Product Manager in the AdminCP. 2) Remove the uploaded files. Notes: ---------------------------- 1) Currently does not search across multiple lines. 2) Has only been tested on vB versions 4.1.3 and 4.1.4. If that's it, then it's not really related to this mod, but you could do something like search for $vbulletin->options and see which ones are used by each plugin (assuming the plugins do not include external files).
