Spammers getting past user questions

Hi guys

I am having terrible spam problems on my site, what i would like to know is how are they getting past my user created questions ?

They are all things like

What is bigger a mouse or an elephant ?

And they are still maanging to get past them, they are using some kind of software as i am getting 1000s of spammers a day.

I have turned on the moderation, which stops most of them but idealy I would like to stop them registering full stop

Anyone any ideas how they get past questions, as ive tried to get past the questions with out answering them corret and it wont let me register

Woc

Have you tried using any of the spam modifications to help out?

I block IP ranges in the register.php file, check again Stop Forum Spam, and have some time-based mods.
It keeps out everything but actual people. No bots get through.

This will give the autospam buggers some trouble:

The Q&A is defeated sometime back by XRumer, a leading autospam program.
