Is there an easy way to make it so based on the users gender it allows/dissallows viewing/posting on a certain forum? I am trying to make male and female only section.

Create a new Male/Female set of usergroups, disallow in the forum via permissions based on usergroup.
There's many other ways you can go about it though however asking yourself, how can I enforce it OR how could they bypass this? That would be my primary question if I were you, they could join the site again under a different username using a proxy and say they are female this go around to access the female only forums etc etc.

Consider making a private social group for men or women and appoint someone to manager the members for each group.
