You can prevent vision to a user group?example not only to see New Posts to the group in reading.

To be honest that picture confused me more, because there's an arrow pointing to the Archive link but none of your previous posts mention the archive.

I think krimesis wants to hide the archive link in the footer.
And what is the "Reading Group"? krimesis, you do know that what you see as an admin is not what others see when looking through the archives. It has the same permissions as your forums.

You can delete the link in your footer, but if someone has a direct link they would still be able to see the archive. I'm sure there has to be a way to do what you are asking.

In your footer template,
Find:
Add above:
Edit this to only show link in footer to the usergroups you want to see the link. Find:
Add above:
Click save. As Boofo mentioned above, those that know the direct URL can still get to it & view it, but they can only view the forums you gave them permisson to view in Forum Manager. Remember, they do not see what you see.
