that's the kind of code that is missing from vB from the start... you can control the minimum of words in a post, but not count them possibly...

Great work!
![]() One comment though: when someone replies, and quotes a page-long text, saying "yes" at the end, it seems to get counted because of the huge quote. Would it be possible to only count what he has written, excluding the quoted parts? No members have liked this post.

What does "quote stripping" mean?

Setting it to yes means that quotes will not count towards the total count of words/characters.

![]() Is there a way to update existing user post counts in regard to the mod? I activate it, set the minimum to 5 words and ran the "update post counter" query, but apparently it didn't change anything. No members have liked this post.
